The Marketing & Brand Assistant is an important role within the Marketing & Communications team – and for the charity as whole. The position provides marketing support and guidance on a diverse range of activities from services to fundraising.
As the post holder you’ll be responsible for championing our brand and making sure it’s used consistently across the organisation. You will be integral to creating content and gathering case studies for our image library as well as managing the design and production of marketing and digital content. You’ll manage a suite of marketing materials, templates and images and be responsible for our template design software, supporting all staff to create on-brand marketing materials.
You will also lead on our flagship quarterly e-newsletter, planning and writing content and working closely with our CRM/Supporter Care and Digital teams. There will be exciting opportunities to work with the Marketing & Brand Officer on services, fundraising and brand campaigns as well as providing support day-to-day.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have experience of working in a busy Marketing and Communications team, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and activities, prioritising your workload effectively. You’ll need relevant marketing and digital experience and be able to demonstrate that you can project manage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, as well as meet deadlines. Enthusiasm and a high degree of initiative and motivation are paramount as you will be working across the organisation to champion our brand. You also must have excellent written skills and an understanding of design and content creation for marketing and digital channels.
