Breast Cancer Care’s strategy, Facing breast cancer together, commits to ensuring that by 2020 everyone who is affected by breast cancer has access to and is aware of our services.
Our Living with Secondary Breast Cancer services now operate in over 35 locations around the UK with more planned. We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to join our team to ensure the continued successful delivery and high quality of these services, maximising their reach and the benefits to those who attend. This is a fixed-term post while the post-holder is seconded to another role.
The successful candidate will have experience of service management and development, experience of working with sensitive or vulnerable groups and confidence in developing and maintaining relationships with health professionals and therapists. You will have a problem-solving, can-do attitude and be able to combine innovation and creativity with an evidence-based approach. With a willingness to travel, you will have the ability to work as part of a busy team and with other teams across different geographical sites and be comfortable with matrix management arrangements. We are looking for excellent organisational and time management skills, highly-developed oral and written communication skills and the ability to multitask.
